1. India's gross Foreign Direct Investment inflows reached 30.7 billion dollars during the first quarter of the 2026-27 fiscal year.
2. India's foreign exchange reserves reached an all-time record high of 729.33 billion dollars, supported by strong foreign inflows.
3. India's real Gross Domestic Product growth rate stood at 7.8% for the first quarter of the 2026-27 fiscal year.

International

1. Elon Musk was awarded Ukraine's top state honour, the Order of Freedom, by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for providing Starlink communication support.
2. Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan to attend the 26th Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Council of Heads of State Summit.
3. NPCI International Payments Limited partnered with Uzbekistan to enable Indian UPI applications to scan Uzbekistan's national UZQR codes for payments.
4. Singaporean diplomat Tommy Koh was honoured with the Ramon Magsaysay Award 2026 for his historic role in the adoption of the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea.

Defence

1. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh released the 'RAKSHA' document, which outlines India's strategic 10-year roadmap for global defence diplomacy.
2. The Ministry of Defence approved the transfer of technology for conventional missile systems from DRDO to private domestic industries to boost mass production.
3. India signed a 292-crore rupee deal with the United States to procure around 60 Javelin anti-tank guided missiles.
4. The Indian Navy commissioned INS Nipun, the second indigenously built Diving Support Vessel of the Nistar class, at the Naval Dockyard in Mumbai.

Sports
