NEWS 10-05-2018. News for 14-May (Monday) NEWS 1. India has been ranked fourth out of 25 nations in Asia-Pacific region as per Asia Power Index released by Australia’s Lowy Institute. It measures overall power of countries and territories in Asia-Pacific region. 2. Union Government has signed $200 million loan agreement with World Bank for National Nutrition Mission (POSHAN Abhiyaan) for 315 districts.It will be used for reducing stunting in children 0-6 years of age from 38.4% to 25% by 2022. 3. Nepal Government has granted power generation licence to Indian government for the construction of Arun-3 hydropower project. 4.
