NEWS 22-04-2018. NEWS FOR 23-APR (MONDAY) 1. The first ever International SME convention will be held from 22-24 April. It will encourage Entrepreneur-to-Entrepreneur exchange of ideas and free business discussions. 2. Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare launched ‘Integrated initiative for prevention & control of viral hepatitis’ under National Health Mission for prevention and control of viral hepatitis. 3. Central government has decided to set up Defense Planning Committee (DPC).It will be headed by the National Security Advisor and will draft reports on national security strategy & boost defense exports. 4. Nepal and China have agreed to expand connectivity and development of Trans-Himalayan multi-dimensional transport network. In the recent years, Nepal has been moving alarmingly closer to China. 5. World Bank has projected a growth rate of 7.3 per cent for India this year and 7.5 per cent for 2019 and 2020. 6.
