NEWS 20-10-2017. NEWS FOR 21-OCT (SATURDAY) 1. India, Brazil and South Africa (IBSA) have signed the IBSA Trust Fund Agreement that seeks to fight poverty in developing countries. Indigenously-built anti-submarine warfare stealth corvette INS Kiltan was commissioned an into the Indian Navy. It is India’s first major warship to have a superstructure of carbon fibre composite material resulting in improved stealth features, lower top weight and lower maintenance costs. 3. India and Japan have signed memorandum of cooperation (MoC) on Technical Intern Training Programme (TITP) to expand the bilateral cooperation in the field of skill development. Under it, India will send youngsters to Japan as technical interns for on-the-job training for a period of three to five years. 4.
