BRICS countries during the seminar on the governance of BRICS have signed a memorandum of understanding to hold joint research every year on mutually interested topics . 2. The Indian army has decided to arm its main battle tank - T90, with the third generation gun launched missile system. Presently, they are equipped with a laser guided INVAR system. 3. British scientists have developed a world’s smallest surgical robot called Versius that mimics human arms . A surgeon can guide it by looking at 3D screen and perform operations. 4. The first shipment of crude oil worth $100 million from the U.S will reach India next month. The deal was signed in 2015 between India and the U.S after then U.S President Barak Obama lifted the 40 year old ban on it’s export. 5. Centre has decided to provide a monthly fellowship of Rs. 70,000/- to the researchers of Indian Institute of Technology and Indian Institute of Science.
