NTPC(National Thermal Power Corporation) are going to build India’s biggest power plant of 6,400 MW.The Project will be in 2 phases of 4,000 MW,which will be completed in 23 months & the other of 2,400 MW in phase II. This project will be coal based & in  venture with Jharkhand state with a stake of 76:24 respectively.
