Indian astronaut is planned to be on the Moon by 2040. 2.Chandrayaan-4 is India’s fourth lunar mission, set to launch in October 2027. ISRO aims to soft land on the Moon & bring back some lunar samples to Earth. 3.Gujarat is going to become the second state in the country to implement the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) after Uttarakhand. 4.The unemployment rate in the country has decreased from 6% during 2017-18 to 3.2 % in 2023-24. 5.Wipro, Tech Mahindra, and L&T Technology Services have recently announced strategic partnerships with Nvidia to develop advanced AI solutions across various sectors. 6.US is keen to enhance its access to the Indian market for three crops – soyabean, corn, and cotton. The Cabinet Committee on Security has approved a Rs 7,000 crore deal to procure 307 advanced towed artillery gun systems (ATAGS) and 327 gun-towing vehicles for the Army. Developed by DRDO, the ATAGS have a strike range of 45-48 km and will boost homegrown manufacturing capabilities. 13.India’s Defence Production rose to a record ?1.27 Lakh Crore in 2023-24.
