It will benefit the farmers and will reduce the import of DAP in the country. 2. Santiniketan has become the 41st UNESCO World Heritage Site in India and the 3rd in West Bengal, after the Sundarbans National Park and the Darjeeling Mountain Railways. Also, the Hoysala temples in Karnataka became the 42nd UNESCO World Heritage Site in India. 3. Govt has approved the Women Reservation Bill, which mandates a 33% reservation for women in both the Lok Sabha and state assemblies of India. This legislation aims to ensure equal representation for women in the highest legislative bodies of the country. 4. India has launched the *global biofuels alliance* at the G20 summit in New Delhi. The Global Biofuel Alliance is an India-led Initiative to develop an alliance of governments, International organizations, and Industry to facilitate the adoption of biofuels. 5. Govt has announced the *Samudrayaan Mission( MATSYA 6000)*, India’s first 3-manned mission to explore the deep ocean, at 6000m depth. 6. ISRO has launched India's first solar observatory mission *'Aditya L1'* from PSLV. It will take 125 days to reach the designated point L1. 7. Hyderabad inaugurated a 23-km long India's first solar-covered cycle track. The panels have the potential to generate 16MW of electricity which can illuminate the 800 km of city street lights. 8. Rajasthan tops the list of solar water pump installations in 2023. More than 62,000 farmers have directly benefited from this scheme. 9. Udhampur military station received the award of *'Best Green Military Station'*. 2. The 3/5 GR of the Indian Army won a gold medal at the *Cambrian Patrol Exercise 2023* held in the UK, also called as the *'Olympics of Military Patrolling'*, competing against 96 teams representing special forces and regiments from around the world. 3. IAF has acquired its first Airbus C-295 aircraft. A total of 56 Airbus C-295 aircraft will replace the IAF AVRO fleet. 40 of them will be manufactured in India. 4. The BRO has initiated the construction of the world's highest fighter airfield in Nyoma - Ladakh. 5. HAL has handed over the twin-seater variant of LCA Tejas fighter aircraft to IAF in Bengaluru.
