1. DRDO has successfully carried out a training launch of a Short-Range Ballistic Missile, Prithvi-ll from the Integrated Test Range, Chandipur off the Odisha coast.
2. First female fighter pilot in the IAF, Sqn Cdr Avani Chaturvedi, will participate in the inaugural air exercise Veer Guardian '23 in Japan.
3. The IAF has sent a total of seven planes including four Su-30 MKI, two C-17 Globemasters and an IL-78 tanker aircraft took part in the Veer Guardian 2023 military exercises in Japan. the inaugural edition of the bilateral exercise was conducted in Japan, between Jan 12-26.
