1.Recently a successful launch test of SLBM missile has been carried out from India's nuclear submarine INS Arihant.

3.Bharat Forge has recently dispatched its first lot of Armoured vehicle Kalyani M4, manufactured in ITA, Pune and Satara.
4.An Aircraft Manufacturing Facility has been set up in Vadodara to manufacture 40 C-295 transport aircraft. The parts of aircraft will be manufactured by BEL and Bharat dynamic limited.
5. Lt. Gen. Anil Chauhan PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, SM, VSM has taken over the charge of Chief of Defence staff of India on 30 September 2022. He is the second CDS of India. And was DGMO during Balakot strike.

1. The IMF has forecasted global growth to slow from 6.0% in 2021 to 3.2% in 2022 and 2.7% in 2023. This is the weakest growth since 2001, except in pandemic years. Also, IMF report has revealed that Indian economy is doing better than expected and is likely to remain immune to world recession.
