The govt of India has banned the export of wheat due to the sudden spike in prices of wheat, due to which the food security of India, neighbouring countries & other vulnerable countries are at risk. The G7 nations (Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, UK & US) have condemned this move of India. 2. Ranil Wickremesinghe has been sworn in as the new PM of SriLanka by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa amid the political & economic crisis in the country.
