NEWS 17-04-2022. NEWS FOR 18th-APR (MONDAY) 1. Pakistan’s parliament has elected Shehbaz Sharif as the country’s new prime minister following the removal of Imran Khan in a vote of no confidence. 2. Philippines military personnel would start training on operating the BrahMos missile system for which they have signed a contract worth over USD 375 million in January 2022. 3. India has carried out a successful test firing of the Helina anti-tank guided missile from the indigenous Advanced Light Helicopter in high altitude areas of Ladakh. 4. HAL has signed a contract with Nigerian Army for imparting Phase-II flying training on Chetak Helicopter for six officers of Nigerian Army Aviation. 5. Indian Army has recently inducted Bharat Forge Kalyani M4 Monocoque Hull Multi Role Mine Protected Armoured Vehicles in Pune. 6.
