1. Indian Army’s military exercise named 'DakshinShakti' took place in Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer. This exercise included over 30,000 troops from the Army, Navy, IAF, Coast Guard, BSF and intelligence.

In another milestone in the field of defence manufacturing, the (DRDO) has developed two indigenous warning systems Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) and Missile Approach Warning Systems (MAWS), which are to be procured by Airbus Defence and Space from India's Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) for the upcoming C295 aircraft programme of the central government.

6. PM Narendra Modi has laid foundation stone of Rs 400 crores worth Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor project in Jhansi. It was launched on the concluding three-day 'Rashtra Raksha Samarpan Parv', organized by Ministry of Defence (MOD) along with Uttar Pradesh govt.
7. The govt has flagged off the first ever All India Domestic Workers Survey. It will cover 742 districts in 37 States and Union territories. Its objective is to estimate the number and proportion of domestic workers at the national and state level and find out household estimates of live-in and live-out domestic workers.
