Andhra Pradesh government on30th July 2016, signed a MOU with Japan to develop a food value chain in the state.

Under the MOU, Japan Ministry of Agriculture, forestry & Fisheries (MAFF) will encourage direct investment by Japanese companies in the field of Agriculture & Food related industries. It will also establish food industrial parks & develop cold chains.
