NEWS 29/09/2021. NEWS FOR 1st-OCT (FRIDAY) 1. PM Narendra Modi addressed the 76th session of the UN General Assembly in New York on 25th September. This was his 7th address to the General Assembly in person. 2. Govt has launched 'National Single Window System (NSWS)' for the investors. NSWS is a single window portal that will act as a one-stop-shop for investors, to get approvals and clearances needed. 3.DRDO is set to test 550Km Ranged Air to Surface Missile RudraM-III on Su-30 fighter aircraft. It is another boost for the growing indigenous developments. 4. INDIAN NAVY WARSHIPS & P-8I Submarine - Hunter Aircraft, participated in Exercise "SAMUDRA SHAKTI", a Bilateral Naval exercise with the Indonesian Navy in September '21. 5. IAF is set to Procure 6 COUNTER-STEALTH RADARS FROM INDIAN PRIVATE FIRM ALPHA DESIGN. This Radar has a detection range of 250+km and will be truck mounted for mobile deployment. 6. The Defence Ministry has signed a Rs 20,000 crore deal with Airbus Defence and Space of Spain for 56 "C-295" medium transport aircrafts.
