1. IAF has inducted Barak 8 air defence system that can hit multiple targets 70kms away. India and Israel have jointly developed this defence system that includes advanced radar, command & control systems, and mobile launchers. This is a giant leap towards achieving ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’
2. An emergency landing strip at Gandhav Bhakasar Section of NH-925, south of Barmer in Rajasthan was construtced by NHAI and IAF. It is the first time that the National Highway will be used for emergency landing of IAF aircraft. It has been built keeping in view the strategic importance as it's nearly situated at a distance of 40 kms from the Pakistan border. India will have 20 highways in India with such emergency airstrips soon.
3. Jal Shakti Ministry has virtually launched Swachh Survekshan Grameen 2021 under Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen) Phase II at an event organized by Dept of Drinking Water and Sanitation (DDWS)
17,475 villages in 698 Districts across India will be covered.
4. Govt has launched a portal titled as 'PRANA' for regulation of air pollution in 132 cities across India.
PRANA stands for Portal for Regulation of Air-pollution in Non-Attainment cities.
It will cover cities that comes under National Clean Air Programme for tracking physical and financial status of city air action plan.
5. Govt is setting up an Atmanirbhar Bharat corner in 75 Indian Embassies across the world in the next 3 months

Aim: It will be an exclusive space to promote Gl-tagged tribal art and craft products besides natural organic products
6. Indian shooter Avani Lekhara led India's contingent at the Closing Ceremony of Tokyo Paralympics as the flag-bearer.
19-year-old shooter won gold and bronze medals at the Paralympic Games.
A total of 54 para-athletes from India across nine sports disciplines participated in the event where they won a total of 19 medals.

10. Tata Group will make military transport aircraft for the Indian Air Force in the first such deal for an India private sector company. The Tata-Airbus projects to build 56 C-295MW transport aircrafts. Tata will make 40 of these aircrafts in India within 10 years, while the rest will be delivered by Airbus from Spain.
