NITI Aayog panel led by its vice-chairman Arvind Panagariya is in the process of finalising its recommendation on the structural reform of MCI & to replace the same with a National Medical Commission.

View: The effect of the same would be that its members would be selected on merits by a high powered search- cum-selection panel. The selection process will be transparent & would ensure the best brains from the medical fraternity.
