Union Minister for Road Transport & Shipping Nitin Gadkari has launched a project of creating ecologically sustainable green highways project through Plantation, Transplantation & Beautification.

View: This greening project will thereby generate jobs for both agricultural & rural economy. Converting 1 km of highway into green provides employment to 10 people & launching a scheme for 1,500 km which will employ 15,000 people thereby solving the problem of unemployment.
