1.     Iran has discovered second largest oil field containing $53 billion barrel of crude oil. Discovery of oil field is expected to boost country’s economy.

8.    A three-judge Bench led by Chief Justice of India Sharad A Bobde to hear 144 petitions against and in support of the Citizenship Amendment Act of 2019. The judgment will fast-tracks citizenship-by-naturalization process for “illegal migrants” from six religious communities other than Muslims, who have fled persecution from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.
