On 12th
December 2015 more than 190 countries adopted a new agreement on climate change
that could force lasting changes on economic activities across the world. The
agreement will come into force in 2020 and will replace the Kyoto protocol.
This agreement will be called Paris Agreement. It is much more comprehensive
than the Kyoto Protocol. Kyoto Protocol was limited to assigning greenhouse gas
emission reduction targets for developed countries to take actions on emissions
reduction & also informed the world for cross checking. Developed
countries are supposed to do more to take absolute emission reduction
& they are also required to financially help the developing world to take actions
on climate change.
