NEWS FOR 21-JUN (FRIDAY)
1. The wreckage of the missing AN-32, a transport aircraft of the Indian Air Force, was spotted in Arunachal Pradesh, eight days after it went missing on June 3. The wreckage was spotted 16 km North of Lipo, North East of Tato at an approximate elevation of 12000 ft by IAF Mi-17 Helicopter.There were no survivors.

2. 
Shikhar Dhawan has been ruled out of the 2019 Cricket World Cup for 3 weeks with a fractured thumb. His left thumb was injured during India’s match against defending champions Australia.


3. 
Indian Railway Station Development Corporation (IRSDC) entered into a Tripartite Agreement with French Railways (SNCF) & AFD, a French Agency on 10th June, 2019. Under this agreement, AFD a French agency, has agreed to provide 7,00,000 EURO, through French National Railways (SNCF)-Hubs to support the Railway Station Development Program in India.

ISRO, in one of its most ambitious projects, is planning to launch its own space station by 2030. The full details of the mission will be revealed after the successful completion of India’s first manned space mission – Gaganyaan.

Chandrayaan-2 will be launched on July 15, 2019 confirmed ISRO Chairman K Sivan on June 12. Chandrayaan-2 will comprise three modules, an orbiter, a lander named Vikram and a rover named Pragyan. The orbiter will have eight payloads, while the Lander and the Rover will have three and two respectively. Chandrayaan 2 is expected to land near the south polar region which is not visible to the eye.
