NEWS 11-04-2018. NEWS FOR 13-APR (FRIDAY) 1. GST e-way bill system was rolled out all over India from 1st April.It is an electronic documentation detailing the movement of goods and has to be carried by for any consignment exceeding Rs50,000 in value. 2. India overtook Japan to become the world's 2nd largest producer of crude steel, according to the Steel Users Federation of India (SUFI).It stood at 93.11 million tonnes (MT) for the period 2017 to February 2018. 3. Ministry of tourism launched the 'Adopt a Heritage’ project. The project will focus on providing basic amenities that include cleanliness, public convenience, drinking water, ease of access for tourists, signage etc. 4. Ministry of Human Resource Development has launched the ‘Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyaan’. It aims to motivate and engage children between the age group of 6-18 years, in Science, Mathematics and Technology. 5.
