NATIONAL NEWS
1.Kerala became the first state to use the BANDICOOT robot, developed by Genrobotics, for cleaning sewage, to eliminate manual scavenging.
2. India has launched 57 Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) in Teacher Education Institutions (TEIs). It offers a 4-year dual-major undergraduate degree program, preparing teachers for the 4 stages of the new school structure.
3. RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das has received the 'Governor of the Year' 2023 Award by the international publication Central Banking.
4. India has inaugurated Asia’s largest 4-meter International Liquid Mirror Telescope (ILMT) at Devasthal in Uttarakhand, at an altitude of 2450 meters.

INTERNATIONAL NEWS
1. India and the World Bank have recently signed a loan agreement, of 500 million dollars, to construct 781 km of green highways across four states in India.
2. NISAR (NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar) Mission is a collaborative project between NASA and ISRO, aimed at building and launching an Earth observation satellite equipped with a dual-frequency synthetic aperture radar.
3. PM Narendra Modi and his Bangladesh counterpart Sheikh Hasina jointly inaugurated the India-Bangladesh friendship diesel pipeline. This pipeline will transport 1 Million Metric Tonne Per Annum, High-Speed Diesel to Bangladesh.
4. India and Japan have recently signed agreements on cooperation on Japanese language & JICA loan of 300 billion Yen on Mumbai - Ahmedabad high-speed railway project.
5. Indonesia is all set to move its capital from Jakarta to Borneo over environmental issues such as being congested, sinking into seawater, and being prone to earthquakes.

DEFENSE NEWS
1. The IAF participated in the Desert Flag VIII exercise held in the UAE alongside US, France, and UAE.
2. Lt Gen MV Suchindra Kumar has assumed the appointment of the Vice Chief of the Army Staff.
3. Indian govt has approved the procurement of 70 HTT-40 Basic Trainer Aircraft from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for the Indian Air Force.
4. The Indian Navy has received the first fully indigenized fuze YDB-60 for the underwater anti-submarine warfare rocket RGB-60, manufactured by a private Indian Industry.
5. The 10-day Africa-India Field Training Exercise (AFINDEX 2023) was organized in Pune, from March 21 to March 30, '23, to strengthen the military ties between the countries.
6. Indian Navy launched INS Androth, the second in a series of eight indigenous ships, built by Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE) at Kolkata. It is an Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft (ASWSWC)
7. The Indian Army and Air Force carried out a 96-hour joint exercise named ‘Vayu Prahar’ in the eastern region. The exercise aimed to develop plans to achieve synergy in multi-domain operations by using air and land forces.
8.HAL has received per mission from the Director General of Civil Aviation to build the Hindustan-228-201W aircraft variant, a 19-seater that requires fewer pilot requirements.

SPORTS NEWS
1. Rani Rampal, of the Indian hockey team is the first women in the sport to have a stadium named after her, in Rae Bareli, UP.
2.India topped the medal tally of the Women's World Boxing Championship (WWBC) '23, the 13th edition of the championships, with 4 gold medals. It was hosted by India from 15th to 26th March 2023 at K.D. Jadhav Indoor Hall in New Delhi.
3.Mumbai Indians have won the inaugural Women's Premier League final, held at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai from 4-26 March 2023. They defeated Delhi Capitals by 7 wickets.
4.India topped the medal tally of the Mahindra International Boxing Association (IBA) Women's World Boxing Championship (WWBC) 2023, the 13th edition of the championships, with 4 gold medals. The 13th edition of the WWBC was hosted by India from 15th to 26th March 2023 at K.D. Jadhav Indoor Hall in New Delhi, Delhi.
5.Rohan Bopanna, a 43-year-old Indian tennis player, and his Australian partner Matthew Ebden have become the oldest duo to win an ATP Masters 1000 title.
6.India's pistol shooter, Sarabjot Singh has clinched the gold medal in the men's 10m Air Pistol event at the ISSF Rifle and Pistol World Cup 2023 held in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
7.Sampanna Ramesh Shelar, a Bachelor of Physical Education student, has set a new record by becoming the fastest Indian in the under-21 category to swim across the Palk Strait, from Talaimannar in Sri Lanka to Dhanuskodi in Tamil Nadu. He completed the 29 km distance in just 5 hours and 30 minutes, beating the previous record of 8 hours and 26 minutes.
