1.The Indian Navy (IN) took delivery of the INS Vagir. This is the fifth out of 6 submarine under Project-75.
2. The Indian Navy launched *'Arnala'*, the first of the eight indigenously-built anti-submarine warfare shallow water craft at the shipbuilding facility of L&T in Chennai.
3.India and Japan have concluded their maiden bilateral air combat exercise, *Veer Guardian* 2023 from January 16 to 26 in Japan. IAF first female fighter pilot Sqn Ldr Avani Chaturvedi, alongwith 4 SU-30, 2 C-17 Globemaster & 1 IL-78 aircrafts participated in it.
