NEWS 18-12-2022. News For 19th-Dec (Monday) *DEFENCE NEWS* 1. Indian Navy and Indian Airforce have decided to induct the women officers in Special forces of respective forces namely MARCOS and Garuda. This will boost the confidence of women officers and women in general. Also, improving gender parity in forces. *NATIONAL NEWS* 2. As per National Education Policy 2020, now students have to do 4 years of Honours degree, instead of 3 years for any UG course. This will include focus on keeping syllabus aligned with current market demands and one year on in-hand training to skill the youth to combat issue of increasing unemployment in India. *INTERNATIONAL NEWS* 3. Russia has once again supported India for a permanent seat in UNSC. This will enable India to be more efficient in world affairs. *SPACE AND TECHNOLOGY NEWS* 4. ISRO has Successfully Conducted Joint Hypersonic Vehicle Trials in priliminary stage. 5. ISRO is working on cleaning and space debris.
