1.TReDS platform has been inaugurated by Govt of India for payment and printing of GST invoices for MSME's. This will simplify the GST payment process and will further enhance *Ease of Doing Business*.
2. The exeFirst ASEAN-India startup festival was inaugrated in Indonesia. This will lead to increase in FDI inflow from countries like Singapore, Malaysia and Phillipines, which will boost emerging startup ecosystem of India.

1. Russia has stopped one more major consignment of grains. This will have an adverse impact on Humanitarian aid schemes provided by UN to struggling nations like Madagascar, which is suffering from famine.
3. UNEP's Emission Gap Report 2022 has projected an unprecedented drop in emissions of carbon footprints to 5.4% compared to previous year.
4. Giorgia Meloni was sworn in as Italy's first Women prime minister. This is the first time after second world war that a right wing govt has been elected.

1.Indian junior men's hockey team defeated Australia by 5-4 in a nail-biting penalty shootout to reclaim the Sultan of Johor Cup on 29th-Oct.
2.Indian pair Satwik-Chirag won the semi finals by defeating South Korea’s Gyu-Ho in cloze match to reach French Open finals.
3. In a historic move ,BCCI has announced to implement *pay equity policy* for its women cricketers during international matches. This will add dignity to the equal work done by women and will boost morale of female athletes.

1.An Aircraft Manufacturing Facility has been inaugrated in Vadodara to manufacture 40 C-295 transport aircraft. The parts of aircraft will be manufactured by BEL and Bharat dynamic limited. This will give boost to emerging defence manufacturing industry of India.
2.DRDO has started the process to develop Retractable Air-to-Air Refuelling (AAR) System for AMCA project.
3. The Indian and French air forces are undertaking *GARUDA 7* an 18-day military exercise in Jodhpur involving a significant number of combat jets such as Rafale, Tejas, Jaguar and Sukhoi-30s to further enhance operational cooperation.
4. Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics (BEL) has signed an agreement with Meslova Systems, for cooperation in the areas of artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI&ML) for air defence (AD) systems/platforms for the Armed Forces. This is a progressive step to ensure security of the airspace of India near porous borders from drone intrusions and attacks by hostile neighbours.
